Diagnóstico sobre la relación entre desempleo, pobreza y el delito de hurto, calificado como delito juvenil.

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to show the relationship that exists between the economic conditions of young people in the department of Córdoba and the commission of a crime, especially the theft and that are attended by the Sectional Directorate of Public Prosecutions in this department.

In Cordoba, the crimes that occur are too many among them are: Theft, personal injury, intrafamily violence, homicide, sexual violence, drug trafficking, among others. In professional practice, when working with the monitoring of crimes, we seek to present some alternatives that allow, in a certain way, to decongest work in the offices and allow the Director a better visibility of the number of cases attended. As the commission of crimes is so broad, this work focuses on juvenile theft, to determine the economic causes that are affecting this type of crime. So the objective of this work was aimed at designing some preventive strategies among young people so that they do not incur the violation of the law, starting from the socioeconomic environment in which they live. The tendency of crimes that are attended by the Office of the Prosecutor is represented by means of graphs and it is shown why theft is chosen as the crime that most registers the department.

To show the relationship, a regression model was applied between theft as a dependent variable and economic events, as educational level, unemployment as independent variables, determining whether there is a positive or negative relationship in the commission of the crime that is being presented more than in this case is the theft by young people in the Department of Córdoba.
