Abstract

Occupational Health and Safety is an issue that has now taken on great importance in the business field, an example of which are the legal and regulatory provisions approved in recent years, encouraging the employer to continue preparing under appropriate conditions. work and compliance with current regulations, facilitating a safe and healthy work environment, resulting in a significant increase in competitiveness and a substantial reduction in operating costs in organizations. However, not all companies have knowledge of it, or simply do not implement it correctly, for this reason, it would be important to implement a safety and health management system at work that is solid and structured, in the company DEPOSIT DE MATERIALS THE ARROW which is currently in a process of transition to become a company (DEPOSIT OF MATERIALS LA FLECHA SAS) that will implement a new management system. Currently the demands of the ministry of labor have increased and due to that and the hand of a professional specialized in the subject has allowed to minimize that gap on many processes for the implementation of the safety and health system at work, allowing greater control, organization, optimization and streamlining of said processes. In order to comply with the established requirements, a specialized person was sought, who will be aware that the activities are carried out to comply with the safety and health system at work. Through this project we seek to advance actions for permanent evaluation and continuous improvement, in such a way that occupational accidents and diseases are reduced, for this it is necessary to adopt methods that allow us to identify, prevent, assess, control and evaluate the risks and dangers that exist, or may exist within the company. This whole process is carried out 5 step by step, making known the different activities for the proper use of the occupational health and safety system and giving training to all employees for an optimal and effective improvement.
