dc.description	La ocupación es una actividad que permite al ser humano suplir las demandas del medio en que se encuentra, dentro de la presente investigación la población en situación de discapacidad del municipio de Pamplona Norte de Santander, se evidencia con un alto nivel de disfuncionalidad al participar de tareas que son importantes para su desempeño ocupacional, por ende con el objetivo de determinar la capacidad de desempeño buscamos lograr la participación en una ocupación, partiendo de diferentes aspectos que fundamentan la ocupación en el ser humano, entre los que encontramos los procesos volitivos, la habituación y la capacidad de desempeño, así mismo retomando diferentes estrategias y actividades para la intervención de dichas personas, como lo es el deporte adaptado como un medio para la adquisición de una ocupación que se ajuste a las características de cada uno de los participantes. Inicialmente se realizó un perfil sociodemográfico para la caracterización de la población dentro del municipio e invitarlas a participar dentro de la investigación, así mismo se llevó a cabo la valoración de la capacidad de desempeño de la población objeto de estudio, a través del Perfil ocupacional del modelo de la ocupación humana MOHOST para adultos y el Perfil ocupacional inicial del niño SCOPE para infantes, seguidamente se identificaron los gustos e interés posteriormente se realizó la exploración de diferentes deportes para lograr la adquisición de la ocupación en los mismos.	es_CO
dc.description.abstract	The occupation is an activity that allows human beings to meet the demands of the environment which is, in the present study population in situation of disability in the municipality of Pamplona Norte de Santander, evidenced with a high level of dysfunction by participating in tasks that are important to their performance of occupational, therefore in order to determine the capacity of performance are looking for engaging in an occupation on the basis of different aspects that underlie the occupation in humans, among which we find volitional processes, habituation and performance ability, likewise returning to different strategies and activities for the intervention of such persons, such as adapted sports as a means for the acquisition of an occupation that fits the characteristics of each of the participants. Was initially conducted a socio-demographic profile for the characterization of the population within the municipality and invite them to participate in the research, also the assessment of the ability of performance of the study population, was conducted through the occupational profile of the human occupation MOHOST adult model and initial occupational profile of the child SCOPE for infants then tastes were identified and interest then was the exploration of different sports to achieve the acquisition of occupation in the same.	es_CO
